When it comes to owning a Nexus-branded device, one of the best things about it would be the introduction of a new operating system update each time it hits the market. Well, without a doubt we will see Android 4.4 KitKat arrive with the LG Nexus 5, but here we are with word that the Android 4.3 operating system update will most likely arrive on the Xperia Z1 smartphone this coming November, as the latest version of Android will arrive on that month as well. As of today, we do know that the Xperia Z1 is running on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, which means it would make plenty of sense for this rumor to actually take root.
According to a leaked document from French mobile carrier Free, it seems that the Xperia SP too, will be on the receiving end of an Android operating system update - in fact, it will also pick up Android 4.3 Jelly Bean along the way sometime this coming December, as other smartphones from Sony, too, are tipped to receive this particular operating system update afterwards. Right now, the Xperia SP still remains 'stuck' on Android 4.1, so it would be a classic version jump in this case. Can you wait for it to arrive?
