Looks like Sony will be launching the Android 4.3 update for its Xperia SP smartphone in December, according to a leaked document from the French operator Free Mobile. This in turn will highlight Sony's intention to skip Android 4.2 update for some of its devices, pushing the newer Android 4.3 software, instead.
On a side note, we get to speculate on updates for other smartphones, including the Xperia Z. You see, if the Japanese company launches this software update for its rather insignificant Xperia SP model, the chances are it will do the same with its flagship model from the beginning of the year.
Aside from the core platform enhancements, we expect to see some Sony-specific updates included as well. We'll be getting back to you with additional details as soon as we get 'em. Stay tuned in the meantime...
